Jonathan Lewis Added To U.S. Men's National Team Training Camp Roster For USA-Jamaica

Squad Stands at 29 Players Ahead of Wednesday’s Friendly at Audi Field in Washington, D.C.; Final 2019 Gold Cup Roster due at Midnight on June 5

 

CHICAGO (June 2, 2019) – U.S. Men’s National Team head coach Gregg Berhalter has added Colorado Rapids forward Jonathan Lewis to the training camp roster ahead of USA-Jamaica on June 5 at Audi Field in Washington, D.C. The addition brings the squad to 29 players.

 Having debuted for the USMNT in January, Lewis has played in all four matches in 2019, collecting two assists along the way.

 With the roster deadline for the 2019 Gold Cup due at midnight on June 5, the friendly against Jamaica will serve as the last evaluation before the final 23-player list is submitted to Concacaf.

Kickoff of the USMNT’s first visit to Audi Field in Washington, D.C. is set for 7 p.m. ET, with live coverage on FS1, UniMas and UDN.
