This week’s edition of “The U.S. Soccer Podcast” saw Jordan Angeli and Charlie Davies outline the National Women’s Soccer League’s plan to return to play in June with the 2020 NWSL Challenge Cup in Utah as well as discuss how USMNT players performed over the last week of Bundesliga action.
Jordan and Charlie then welcomed someone who has been in the thick of the action in Germany in USMNT midfielder Tyler Adams. Currently in his second season with RB Leipzig, the 21-year-old gave more insight into how return to play has gone in Germany and how he’s adjusted to life abroad and a new language and culture.
Adams then shifted gears to discuss the bond that continues to form between USMNT players during the Coronavirus pandemic, his thoughts on leadership and desire to one day captain the USA and advice to younger players looking to follow in his footsteps.
