ATLANTA (March 22, 2026) – U.S. Men’s National Team head coach Mauricio Pochettino has added goalkeeper Patrick Schulte to the roster for the upcoming March matches against World Cup-bound opponents Belgium and Portugal. The Columbus Crew goalkeeper will join camp today in Atlanta.
Goalkeeper Roman Celentano has been withdrawn to avoid a potential injury risk after being kept out of FC Cincinnati’s 4-3 win against CF Montreal.
Schulte, 25, has made three appearances for the USMNT, debuting in a match on Jan. 20, 2024, against Slovenia. The goalkeeper is a 2023 MLS Cup and 2024 Leagues Cup winner with Columbus Crew, in addition to being named 2024 Concacaf Champions Cup Best Goalkeeper. Schulte was part of the most recent training camp in November 2025.
In its first match of the year ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, the USMNT will play ninth-ranked Belgium, presented by AT&T, on March 28 at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Ga. The match will kick off at 3:30 p.m. ET and will be broadcast on TNT, HBO Max, Telemundo, Universo, and Peacock. [TICKETS]
The USA will stay in Atlanta where they will face sixth-ranked Portugal, presented by Bank of America, on March 31 at 7 p.m. ET. The match will be broadcast on TNT, TruTV, HBO Max, Telemundo, Universo, and Peacock. [TICKETS]
Both matches will be carried live on radio as Westwood One Sports delivers English language commentary while longtime partner Fútbol de Primera has the Spanish language call.
