U.S. Soccer is committed to creating a safe, respectful and enjoyable experience for all Attendees. This Code of Conduct applies to all events hosted, sponsored or operated by U.S. Soccer, including matches, pre/post-match events, fan events, training camps, media events, and all other programming.
Zero-Tolerance Policy: Abuse, harassment and discrimination have no place in soccer. Verbal, physical, sexual, and emotional abuse or harassment towards any Attendee is strictly prohibited and may result in ejection, a ban from future events, and/or arrest.
Prohibited Behaviors include: derogatory language, disruptive behavior, interference with play, irresponsible consumption of alcohol, fighting, throwing objects, trespassing, vandalism, unauthorized commercial activities, and use of prohibited items.
Attire: Attendees must wear proper attire including shoes and shirts at all times. Attire may not bear slanderous, obscene, or commercially promotional messages.
Banners, Signs & Flags: Where permitted by the venue, content must relate solely to soccer — teams, leagues, personal greetings, or congratulatory messages. All other content restrictions apply. Signs may not obstruct sightlines or Event signage.
Cameras & Video: Handheld personal cameras are permitted unless otherwise specified. Monopods, tripods, and selfie sticks are prohibited unless pre-approved. Lenses in excess of 8 inches are prohibited at televised events.
Enforcement: Staff reserves the right to deny admission, confiscate prohibited items, or remove any Attendee violating this Code of Conduct, without refund. Violations may also result in a ban from future events or legal action.
