  • Starting XI Cap Numbers (including this match): Brad Guzan (63), Gyasi Zardes (55), Tim Ream (39), John Brooks (38), Jordan Morris (38), Paul Arriola (31), Weston McKennie (18), Aaron Long (15), Sebastian Lletget (13), Jackson Yueill (5), Sergiño Dest (3)

  • The Starting XI averages 28 caps, tied for the USMNT’s second lowest in Concacaf Nations League/Semifinal Round World Cup Qualifying play when the team hasn’t already advanced to the next round. The lineup that began last month’s 7-0 win against Cuba is the only less experienced, coming in at 23 caps.

  • The Starting XI also averages 26 years, 110 days.

  • Four starters carry over from last month’s match at Canada: defenders Aaron Long and Tim Ream, midfielder Weston McKennie and forward Jordan Morris.

  • Once referee Cesar Ramos blows the whistle to begin the first half, 19-year-old defender Sergiño Dest will officially be cap-tied to the United States.

  • Tim Ream captains the team for the fifth time tonight.

  • John Brooks earns his second cap of 2019 and returns to the USMNT starting XI for the first time since the 1-0 victory against Ecuador on March 21, a match also played in Orlando.

  • Brooks and Aaron Long also pair in central defense for the second time, with the first coming that night in Orlando.

  • Thanks to his hat trick in the 7-0 win against Cuba, Weston McKennie sits tied for the scoring lead in Nations League A with three goals.

  • McKennie and substitute Josh Sargent come into the match on caution watch. Should either receive a yellow card tonight against Canada, they will be suspended for Tuesday’s Nations League group finale against Cuba.

  • The USMNT is 14-9-11 all-time against Canada and 11-1-9 in home matches.
