NATIONAL TEAM HIGHLIGHTS
- Made his USMNT debut on Sept. 6, 2019 vs. Mexico in East Rutherford, N.J., starting at right back at age 18.
- Provided the assist on Christian Pulisic's 1-0 winning goal against Iran in the 2022 FIFA World Cup group stage on Nov. 29, 2022 in Doha.
- Started all four U.S. matches at the 2022 World Cup, including the Round of 16 against the Netherlands.

- Started the 2-0 Concacaf Nations League final win over Canada on March 24, 2024 in Arlington, Texas.
- Recalled to the USMNT in September 2025 for fall friendlies vs. Korea Republic and Japan, marking his first national team window since the injury.
- Featured for the U.S. throughout the 2025 fall international windows, providing experience at right back, making four appearances during 2025.
CLUB HIGHLIGHTS
- Came through the Ajax academy and made his Eredivisie debut in 2019, earning the club's Talent of the Future award.
- Transferred to FC Barcelona on Oct. 1, 2020, becoming the first American to play in La Liga for the Catalan club.
- Loaned to AC Milan for the 2022-23 season, helping the club reach the semifinals of the UEFA Champions League.
- Joined PSV Eindhoven on loan on Aug. 21, 2023 and helped the club win the 2023-24 Eredivisie title before completing a permanent move on a free transfer in June 2024.
- Won three consecutive Eredivisie titles with PSV in 2023-24, 2024-25 and 2025-26, in addition to the 2024 and 2025 Johan Cruyff Shield.
PERSONAL
- Born in Almere, Netherlands to a Surinamese-American father and a Dutch mother, he holds dual U.S.-Dutch citizenship.
- Committed his international future to the United States in October 2019, choosing the U.S. over the Netherlands.
- Has cited his father, who was born in New Jersey and served in the U.S. military, as a major influence on his decision to play for the USMNT.
- Wears the No. 2 shirt in tribute to his father, who wore the same number during his playing days.
