CHICAGO (Sept. 5, 2018) – U.S. Women’s National Team Midfielder McCall Zerboni suffered a broken left elbow early in the USA’s match against Chile on Sept. 4 in San Jose, Calif. and will miss the remainder of the NWSL season for the North Carolina Courage.
Zerboni suffered the injury during a hard fall after a clash with a Chile player and had to be replaced in the fifth minute.
Zerboni, who last year became the oldest player to earn a cap with the U.S. Women’s National Team, has played in seven games this year and was making her second career start in the game.
