U.S. Para-7-a-Side National Team Continues World Cup Prep With Georgia Training Camp

CHICAGO (April 5, 2019)—The U.S. Para-7-a-Side National Team will hold its third training camp of 2019 in Rome, Georgia from April 7-12. U.S. PNT head coach Stuart Sharp has called in 17 players for the camp, which will serve as preparation for this summer’s IFCPF World Cup in Sevilla, Spain. The USA will face Iran, Finland and Ireland in the tournament, which kicks off on July 6.

GOALKEEPERS (2): Marc Estrella (Bakersfield, Calif.), Keith Johnson (Houston, Texas)

DEFENDERS (4): Andrew Bremer (Clemson, S.C.), Joshua Brunais (Stafford, Va.), Jacob Crumbley (Fortson, Ga.), David Garza (San Diego, Calif.)

MIDFIELDERS (6): Tyler Bennett (Wadsworth, Ohio), Nick Creasey (Chesterfield, Va.), Benjamin Lindau (Chicago, Ill.), Carson Lundhagen (Marietta, Ga.), Chris Moulder (Redlands, Calif.), John Sullivan (Tucson, Ariz.)

FORWARDS (5): Cameron DeLillo (Blandon, Pa.), Shea Hammond (Upper Montclair, N.J.), Seth Jahn (Lakeland, Fla.), Nicholas Mayhugh (Radford, Va.), Donnie Moore (Apple Valley, Calif.)

Six players make their 2019 debut with the team: decorated PNT goalkeeper Keith Johnson as well as defender Benjamin Lindau, midfielders Nick Creasey, Carson Lundhagen and Christopher Moulder and forward Donnie Moore. Creasey’s call-up marks his first appearance with the team since 2014.

Eleven players were a part of the team’s podium run at the 2018 IFCPF Copa America, where the USA finished third overall and clinched its berth in the World Cup.
