  • Alyssa Naeher will earn cap No. 54 today tying Nicole Barnhart for third-place all-time for goalkeeper appearances. She has 29 career shutouts, with her most recently coming vs. Netherlands in the World Cup Final on July 7.

  • Kelley O’Hara will make her 13th appearance of 2019 and earn cap No. 125. She has started every match she’s played in this year and played every minute of five games at the World Cup.

  • Abby Dahlkemper earns cap No. 48 today. She has started 43 of her 48 caps. She and Naeher were the only two players to start all seven World Cup games.

  • Becky Sauerbrunn will earn cap No. 165 today. She was held out of the World Cup opener on June 11 due to a minor quad issue but returned to play all 90 minutes in every match after that.

  • Crystal Dunn has 24 career international goals and will earn cap No. 92 today.

  • Julie Ertz will reach 89 caps today. She currently has 19 international goals, the most recent coming against Chile on June 16, which was her first World Cup goal.

  • Samantha Mewis will earn her 57th cap today. She is third on the U.S. team in goals this year with six. She got her first World Cup start and first two World Cup goals against Thailand in the opening game of the tournament Cup. It was her third career brace.

  • Lindsey Horan will make her 10th start of 2019 and earn cap No. 75. She has scored 10 international goals, with her most recent coming against Sweden on June 20. She provided the assist on Alex Morgan’s game-winning goal vs. England on July 2 in the World Cup semifinal.

  • Christen Press makes her 18th appearance this year and her sixth start. She has scored 49 international goals, most recently vs. England in the World Cup semifinal on July 2. She leads the team with seven assists in 2019.

  • Carli Lloyd will captain the USA today. She makes her third start this year and is tied in second place for most goals scored this year, behind Morgan and Rapinoe. Lloyd scored a hat trick the last time the USA played the Republic of Ireland on Jan. 23, 2016.

  • Mallory Pugh, who made her WNT debut the last time the USA played the Rep. of Ireland back in January of 2016, will make her seventh start of 2019 tonight. She has scored 17 international goals and will earn cap No. 57 today.

  • Alex Morgan and Megan Rapinoe are not available for selection today due to injuries.
