Both subbed on midway through the second half, with Heath entering the game in the 70th minute and Press coming on in the 77th. Across town, Mewis continued her scoring streak with Manchester City, tallying her second goal in as many appearances as the Cityzens topped Tottenham Hotspur, 4-1.
Mewis, who scored the game-winning goal in Manchester City’s FA Cup Semifinal win over Arsenal on Thursday, started yet again in City’s midfield and scored her first WSL goal in the 53rd minute, finishing off a give-and-go with Canadian international Janine Beckie.
