CHICAGO (Jan. 22, 2021) – All four Colombia Women’s National Team players held out of Monday’s match against the U.S. Women’s National Team have been cleared to play in the team’s second match tonight at Exploria Stadium in Orlando, Fla. (7 p.m. on ESPN2).

Three players had tested negative in all of Colombia’s pre-camp and on-site testing but were held out of the Jan. 18 match against the USA in an abundance of caution due to “low risk” contact with a staff member in their delegation that had tested positive for COVID-19. After each player underwent serial testing in the past few days, all of which were negative, they were cleared to play.

The fourth player was held out of last Monday’s match due to an inconclusive test, but after additional testing this week, was cleared as eligible to play.

U.S. Soccer would like to thank the Colombia Football Federation and the Colombia Women’s National Team staff and players for their cooperation and adherence to all of the COVID-19 protocols.
