• U.S. WNT Starting XI Cap Numbers (including this match): Lloyd (316), Horan (106), Dahlkemper (77), Pugh (67), Sonnett (61), Davidson (43), Sullivan (20), Macario (12), Smith (10), Campbell (7), Fox (6)

• Carli Lloyd captains the United States in what will be her 316^th and final cap for the USWNT. Lloyd’s 316 international appearances make her the second-most capped player in world soccer history, behind only fellow USWNT great Kristine Lilly (354) with 315 games played and has scored 134 international goals, third in USWNT history and fourth all-time in world history.

• Lloyd has scored 134 international goals, third in USWNT history and fourth all-time in world history, and – at the age of 39 – currently leads the USWNT in scoring with 11 goals on the year.

• Thursday’s lineup features eight changes for the Starting XI that took on Korea Republic on Tuesday in Kansas City: Campbell for Franch in goal; Fox, Dahlkemper and Sonnett for O’Hara, Krueger and Sauerbrunn on defense, Sullivan for Lavelle in the midfield, and a new forward line of Smith, Lloyd and Pugh replacing Heath, Morgan and Rapinoe.

• Including tonight’s match, Lloyd has 316 caps in her career. Including tonight, the other 10 starters tonight COMBINE for 409 career international appearances. Excluding Horan – the newest member of the USWNT’s 100-cap club – the remaining nine starters have made a combined 303 appearances for the USA.

• Goalkeeper Jane Campbell will earn her seventh cap as she makes her fifth career start for the USWNT. Four of Campbell’s five career starts will have now come in 2021, with the most recent coming in her last appearance for the USWNT, a shutout victory against Paraguay on September 21 in Cincinnati.

• Emily Sonnett will earn her 61^st career cap as she makes her fifth start of the year for the USWNT. Sonnett will have now appeared in 15 matches in 2021 and on September 21 vs. Paraguay became the 57^th player in USWNT history to reach 60 career caps.

• Abby Dahlkemper will earn her 77th career cap and will now have started in 69 of her 77 caps. With her substitute appearance against Paraguay on Sept. 16, Dahlkemper became the 48th WNT player to play 75 or more games for the USA.

• Tierna Davidson will make her sixth consecutive start as she earns her 43^rd cap overall for the USWNT. Davidson, who celebrated her 23^rd birthday during the USA’s September camp, has appeared in 17 games this year and will be making her 12^th start. Davidson has dished out three assists during the 2021 campaign, matching her career-high for assists in a calendar year.

• Emily Fox will earn her sixth cap overall for the USWNT as she makes her fourth career start and first of the year. Fox, who saw action earlier this year as a second half substitute against Colombia (Jan. 22) and Korea Republic (Oct. 21) last started for the USA on January 19, 2019, against France.

• Midfielder Andi Sullivan will earn her 20^th cap as she makes her third start for the USWNT during these fall friendlies. Sullivan started and played the full 90 minutes in the USA’s Sept. 16 win over Paraguay, scoring the first two goals of her international career while also dishing out an assist and started again in the USA’s Sept. 21 win over Paraguay in Cincinnati. She did not suit up vs. Korea Republic on Oct. 21 due to a minor injury.

• Catarina Macario will make her third consecutive start as she earns her 12^th career cap. Macario made her international debut for the USA on January 18, 2021 and made her first start – and scored her first international goal – four days later in the USA’s 6-0 win over Colombia. Macario started and scored twice in the USWNT’s 8-0 win over Paraguay on September 21, marking her first multi-goal game for the USA.

• After captaining the USA for the first time on Thursday vs. Korea Republic, Lindsey Horan returns to the starting lineup as she earns her 106^th career cap. The 41^st player in USWNT history to reach the 100-cap milestone and the 18^th-youngest to do so, is second on the team in minutes (1,437) in 2021 and is tied for second with five assists on the year.

• Sophia Smith will make her second career start – and second start of the year – as she earns her 10^th cap overall for the USA. The youngest player on this roster at 21-years-old and the first player born in the 2000s to appear for the USWNT, Smith scored her first international goal in her first career start, which came vs. Paraguay on Sept. 21 in Cincinnati, making her also the first player born in the aughts to score for the USWNT. 

• Mallory Pugh returns to the USA lineup for her third start of these fall friendlies as she earns her 67th cap with the USWNT. Pugh tallied a career-high three assists in the USA’s Sep. 16 win over Paraguay, which marked her first action of the year for the USA.
