U.S. Soccer Fan Week Celebrates Supporters of the U.S. National Teams
Celebration Includes Special Giveaways, Contests and Content Throughout Week of Dec. 13-18
CHICAGO (Dec. 13, 2021) – U.S. Soccer is proud to celebrate our passionate National Team fans during the fifth annual U.S. Soccer Fan Week. The celebration runs from Monday, Dec. 13 to Saturday, Dec. 18, showcasing and thanking U.S. Soccer fans for their commitment and support of U.S. Soccer’s National Teams.
This year’s Fan Week kicks off with a giveaway of a pair of tickets for the USMNT’s match against Bosnia & Herzegovina on Dec. 18 in Carson, Calif. Throughout the week, U.S. Soccer and all of its official partners will offer daily giveaways on social media. Special feature stories on ussoccer.com will also highlight some of our biggest fans.
The annual “Best of U.S.” contest returns for 2021 to find the Best Fan in the U.S. With the broad, diverse reach of our sport, U.S. Soccer wants to celebrate how soccer impacts our lives. Fans are encouraged to submit a photo and/or video with up to 280 characters using #BestofUS2021 on Twitter or Instagram to showcases the role soccer has played in their life, whether by keeping them connected to their community, playing, coaching or officiating the game, or any other way soccer makes them a fan.
U.S. National Team players will vote to determine U.S. Soccer’s Best Fan, and the winner, to be announced on Dec. 17, will receive a pair of “Golden Tickets” that grant admission to all 2022 U.S. Soccer controlled matches. Fans can also nominate someone else for the “Best of U.S.” using the same submission instructions.
