U.S. Soccer Launches “One Nation. One Team. 26 Stories.” Series, Presented By Volkswagen, On The USA’s 2022 FIFA World Cup Team

CHICAGO (Nov. 11, 2022) – As the U.S. Men’s National Team prepares to return to the global stage at the 2022 FIFA World Cup, U.S. Soccer has launched its “One Nation. One Team. 26 Stories.” video series, presented by Volkswagen.

 

The exclusive video content will be featured at ussoccer.com/26stories, U.S. Soccer social media channels and the U.S. Soccer YouTube page. The series highlights each individual member of the U.S. World Cup team by sharing their unique personal off-the-field stories before they take the field in Qatar. The majority of the roster is available now to watch on U.S. Soccer platforms, with additional videos released in the run-up to the USA’s opening match against Wales.

 

The videos lend insight into the players’ personalities, motivations, families, and the obstacles they have overcome to represent the United States on the world stage. Through fun, emotional, and sincere stories, fans will gain new perspectives on their favorite players and the journeys that they have taken to reach the pinnacle of the sport. USMNT supporters will get to know all 26 players on the squad like never before ahead of cheering for them on the pitch in Qatar.

The USMNT will face Wales, England and IR Iran in Group B play at the 2022 FIFA World Cup. The U.S. kicks off the tournament against Wales on Monday, Nov. 21 at Ahmad Bin Ali Stadium in Al Rayyan (2 p.m. ET; Fox, Telemundo), takes on European power England on Friday, Nov. 25 at Al Bayt Stadium in Al Khor (2 p.m. ET; Fox, Telemundo) and finishes the group stage vs. IR Iran on Tuesday, Nov. 29 at Al Thumama Stadium in Doha (2 p.m. ET; Fox, Telemundo).
