Process Announced For Candidates Interested In Running For U.S. Soccer Vice President

CHICAGO (Oct. 27, 2023) – The process has officially started for individuals to submit their intent to be a candidate in the election for U.S. Soccer Vice-President during the 2024 Annual General Meeting, which will take place from Feb. 9-10, 2024. The election will be held during the U.S. Soccer National Council Meeting on Saturday, Feb. 10, 2024.

The nomination process is detailed in Policy 401-1 available HERE. Interested candidates must submit three letters of support on official letterhead from an Organization Member (as defined in Bylaw 302) and/or one of seven Athlete Representatives on the Board of Directors (as listed here), submit to a background check and complete a conflict of interest disclosure. 

The deadline for candidates to submit conflicts disclosures and letters of support is Dec. 12, 2023.
