U.S. Match Officials Assigned to 2025 FIFA Tournaments
U-20, U-17 Women's, & Futsal Women's World Cups
FIFA have confirmed the selection of seven United States match officials to upcoming FIFA tournaments.
FIFA U-20 World Cup Chile 2025
20 September to 19 October

FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup Morocco 2025
11 October to 9 November
Referee: Alyssa Pennington
Assistant Referees: Kali Smith & Katarzyna Wasiak
FIFA Futsal Women’s World Cup Philippines 2025
21 November to 7 December
Futsal Referee: Krystin Pahia
Dickerson, Blanchard, & Brown officiated at the Concacaf Gold Cup over the summer, taking charge of two group stage matches, while the trio of Pennington, Smith & Wasiak were all selected for the Concacaf Under-20 Women’s Championships in Costa Rica earlier this year.
Pennington made her MLS refereeing debut in July this year in the match between San Diego FC and Toronto FC, and was also the referee for the 2024 NWSL Championship match between Orlando Pride and Washington Spirit.
Pahia’s selection for the inaugural FIFA Futsal Women’s World Cup follows her appointment as the second referee for the Final of the inaugural Concacaf W Futsal Championship held in Guatemala in April and May of this year.
