ATLANTA (Jan. 19, 2026) – Denver Summit defender Ayo Oke will replace Houston Dash defender Avery Patterson on the U.S. Women’s National Team January training camp roster ahead of matches against Paraguay and Chile.

The USA opens the two-game set on Jan. 24 against Paraguay at Dignity Health Sports Park in Carson, Calif. (2:30 p.m. PT / 5:30 p.m. ET on TNT, truTV and HBO Max in English, on Universo and Peacock in Spanish, on Westwood One radio in English and on Futbol de Primera radio in Spanish) and then will travel north to face Chile on Jan. 27 at Harder Stadium in Santa Barbara, Calif. (7 p.m. PT / 10 p.m. ET on TBS and HBO Max in English, Universo and Peacock in Spanish, and on the radio in English on Westwood One and in Spanish on Futbol de Primera).

Patterson, who earned nine caps and scored a goal during her debut year in 2025, has been ruled out of camp due to illness.

Oke was a member of the USA’s 2022 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup Team. She played in two matches in Costa Rica at that tournament and had 11 career U-20 caps. She came into three U.S. U-23 Women’s National Team camps in 2025 and played in matches against the Slovakia Women’s National Team and the England U-23s at the end of the year to earn her first two U-23 caps.

Oke, who played college soccer at UC Berkeley before transferring to UCLA for her final two college seasons, started her professional career Liga MX Femenil where she played in 31 matches for Pachuca and helped the club win the 2025 Liga MX Femenil Clausura title, the first league championship in the club’s history

On Jan. 6, it was announced that Oke had signed with the Denver Summit ahead of its inaugural season. She becomes the Denver Summit’s first-ever USWNT call-up.

Oke has represented the USA at almost every level of the U.S. Youth National Teams, getting call-ups at the U-15, U-16, U-17, U-18, U-20 and U-23 levels.

Oke, 22, becomes the sixth uncapped player in training camp, along with goalkeeper Jordan Silkowitz (25) midfielders Riley Jackson (20) and Sally Menti (23), and forwards Maddie Dahlien (21) and Reilyn Turner (23).
