U.S. Soccer Federation and NIKE Deepen Longstanding Partnership – Bringing Together Athlete Performance Innovation and Sport Research to the Arthur M. Blank U.S. Soccer National Training Center
Founding Partnership to Elevate Player Development and Performance at Every Level of the Game
ATLANTA (January 15, 2026) - U.S. Soccer and NIKE today announced the next evolution of their storied partnership, continuing to define the next era of soccer in the United States.
As a Founding Partner of the Arthur M. Blank U.S. Soccer National Training Center (NTC), NIKE is bringing its legacy of athlete-centered innovation to performance spaces within the facility and giving athletes across all levels direct access to the brand’s cutting-edge expertise, technology, and product.
This milestone deepens one of the most enduring partnerships in U.S. sports and signals a shared commitment to developing the next generation of players across the country.
“For thirty years, NIKE and U.S. Soccer have worked side-by-side to grow the game at every level, and the NTC is our next opportunity to continue being in service to soccer,” said U.S. Soccer Chief Commercial Officer David Wright. “The NTC is the home of soccer in America, and the NIKE Sport Research Lab is an instrumental part of building our foundation to more pathways and possibilities.”
Located just outside of Atlanta, the NTC is a cornerstone of U.S. Soccer’s long-term vision to grow the game nationwide. As the first-ever home for all 27 National Teams, it will also serve as the central hub for coach and referee education, high-performance research, and community programming. This is where the U.S. Way player development philosophy comes to life, driven by accessibility, innovation, and the relentless commitment to excellence.
Centered in player resilience and peak performance, NIKE services at the NTC will evolve over time to meet athlete needs, including ongoing integration of Nike Sport Research Lab (NSRL) teammates, collaborative research and athlete insights gathering, as well as premium Nike equipment (e.g. NSRL Form) and materials. NIKE athletes from across the sport spectrum will also have the opportunity to access NIKE resources at the NTC, further helping to accelerate innovation and performance opportunities (for both soccer and non-soccer athletes) through an exchange of training and recovery insights.
“At NIKE, we believe that our relentless focus on athlete-centered innovation is what will continue to break barriers in sport and strengthen the love for soccer here in the U.S.,” stated Nuno Silva, VP/GM, Nike Soccer North America. “The NTC allows us to scale our partnership with U.S. Soccer, while also creating an environment that fosters community and a collective commitment to developing the next generation of players – all to ultimately unlock a new future for the game.”
