Twelve-Player Roster Named for U.S. Power Soccer National Team Training Camp From July 21-26 in Fayetteville, Georgia
Power NT Continues Preparations in Penultimate Camp Before 2026 FIPFA Powerchair Football World Cup

ATLANTA (July 14, 2026) – U.S. Power Soccer National Team head coach Tracy Mayer has named a 12-player roster for the team’s upcoming training camp from July 21-26 on the Georgia Power Court at the Arthur M. Blank U.S. Soccer National Training Center in Fayetteville, Ga. The camp marks the team’s second-to-last gathering before the 2026 FIPFA Powerchair Football World Cup to be held October 17-22 in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
“We are looking forward to a great camp,” Mayer said. “This is a big one. At its conclusion we will select the eight athletes who will represent the U.S. at the World Cup in October. We have outstanding competition among both our Class 1 and Class 2 athletes, and the final selections will be very difficult.
“Over the course of four days, we'll complete eight training sessions focused on refining both our offensive and defensive structures. Every session matters, and every athlete will have the opportunity to compete, improve, and demonstrate why they deserve to wear the USA crest. We're excited to get to work and take another step toward our goal of competing for a World Cup championship.”
All eight players who helped the USA to a perfect 7-0-0 run at last November’s APFC Americas Cup return for the March camp, including three-time Power Soccer Player of the Year Riley Johnson (Saint Cloud, Minn.), set piece specialist Pete Winslow (Monticello, Minn.), veteran wing Lexi Heer (Fishers, Ind.), as well as center David Dowling (Fort Wayne, Ind.) and wing Michael Rayton (San Jose, Calif.), both of whom had breakthrough performances at the regional qualifying tournament.
This camp reflects the Federation’s commitment to the U.S. Way, by investing in resources, infrastructure, and comprehensive support for the Extended National Teams, including the Power Soccer National team, to ensure they are fully prepared to compete and succeed on the world stage.
