ATLANTA (Aug. 7, 2026) - The U.S. Men’s Cerebral Palsy National team returns to Colombia this year to play three friendlies against Colombian CP MNT for penultimate camp in preparation for the 2026 International Federation of Cerebral Palsy Football (IFCPF) World Cup in October at the Arthur M. Blank National Training Center in Fayetteville, GA.
“Our experience in Colombia last year was incredibly valuable in preparing us for success at the 2025 Copa America, so we are returning to a familiar setting as we approach the World Cup in our new home this October,” said Head Coach Stuart Sharp. "I know the coaches and players are looking forward to playing this quality Colombia side, which will allow us to continue to work on our on-field objectives and help determine our final roster selection for the World Cup.”
The U.S. Men’s CP National Team will be playing three international friendlies against Colombian CP MNT, matches will take place on August 11th, 13th, and 15th.
The first IFCPF World Cup to be staged in the United States and will feature a combined 20 national teams from six continents. The Men’s competition will feature 12 teams, while the Women’s competition will feature eight teams, marking the largest international tournament field in Women’s CP football history.
