U.S. Soccer and Volkswagen Renew Presenting Partnership with Increased Investment Across All 27 National Teams
Expanded agreement includes new Volkswagen support for the new Arthur M. Blank U.S. Soccer National Training Center and continued commitment to Deaf and Beach Soccer
ATLANTA (October 9, 2026) –— U.S. Soccer and Volkswagen of America today announced a multi-year renewal of their presenting partnership that increases Volkswagen’s investment in U.S. Soccer. Under the expanded agreement, Volkswagen will continue as a presenting partner of all 27 U.S. Soccer National Teams, become a supporting sponsor of the new Arthur M. Blank U.S. Soccer National Training Center in Atlanta, and strengthen its programming focused on youth access to the game.
The renewal builds on the incredible visibility and fan engagement generated by the FIFA World Cup 2026 and comes as attention turns to the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2027 in Brazil. Together, U.S. Soccer and Volkswagen will use that momentum to bring more fans closer to the National Teams and open the game to the next generation of players.
Since 2019, Volkswagen has served as presenting partner of all 27 U.S. Soccer National Teams. Throughout the sponsorship, Volkswagen has placed special emphasis on U.S. Soccer’s Extended National Teams across all levels and disciplines of the game—including Deaf, Powerchair, and Beach Soccer—creating new opportunities to showcase athletes, broaden access to the sport, and reach new audiences.
“Volkswagen has consistently invested in the full breadth of U.S. Soccer, from our senior National Teams to Deaf and Beach Soccer, and that commitment has helped more athletes, fans, and people across the soccer community to see themselves in the game,” said David Wright, Chief Commercial Officer, U.S. Soccer. “This renewal deepens that work at a pivotal time for soccer in the United States and adds meaningful support for the Arthur M. Blank U.S. Soccer National Training Center, where our National Teams and the broader soccer community will develop, learn and prepare for the future.”
Volkswagen’s expanded commitment includes new support for the new Arthur M. Blank U.S. Soccer National Training Center in Atlanta, home to all 27 U.S. Soccer National Teams. Volkswagen will have the opportunity to connect with National Team athletes, coaches, referees, fans and members of the broader soccer community through the federation’s new home.
Looking ahead to the FIFA Women's World Cup Brazil 2027, these collaborative efforts will place a new focus on youth access to the game, particularly access for young women and girls. In addition to its expanded partnership with U.S. Soccer, Volkswagen has also formed a new relationship with U.S. Women’s National Team Coach Emma Hayes and extended its ongoing athlete roster relationship with Naomi Girma.
“Soccer in America has never had more momentum than it does right now, and Volkswagen is proud to help shape what comes next," said Rachael Zaluzec, Chief Marketing Officer and SVP, Customer Experience, Volkswagen of America. "The next generation of players, coaches, referees and fans are already out there, and our support for the National Training Center helps create more opportunities for them to grow, compete and thrive. With the FIFA Women's World Cup ahead and a new home for U.S. Soccer in Atlanta, this is the moment to open the game up to even more people, and we're excited to be part of building that future together."
The presenting partnership has already delivered several firsts for U.S. Soccer, including:
In 2024, Volkswagen presented the U.S. Women’s Deaf National Team’s match as part of a doubleheader with the U.S. Women’s National Team, marking the first U.S. Soccer doubleheader to feature both a senior and Extended National Team. The match was broadcast live on truTV and HBO Max. In 2025, Volkswagen presented the U.S. Men’s Deaf National Team’s match, marking the first time a U.S. Men’s Deaf National Team match was televised as part of a U.S. Soccer-controlled event. Both broadcasts featured on-screen American Sign Language interpreters, increasing accessibility and visibility for Deaf and hard-of-hearing fans and athletes.
In 2026, Volkswagen presented U.S. Soccer on the Beach in Venice Beach, the first U.S. Soccer event to bring both the Men’s and Women’s Beach Soccer National Teams together for a doubleheader in the U.S. The event also marked the first-ever home match on sand for the Women’s Beach Soccer National Team and the Men’s Beach Soccer National Team first home contest since 2014. A Soccer Forward community clinic with LA SCORES extended the event’s impact beyond the competition, connecting local youth with Beach Soccer players and coaches.
Those milestones have shown what’s possible when more people can see themselves in the game. The next phase of the extended relationship will carry that approach forward, from the National Training Center to communities across the country, as the U.S. Women’s National Team prepares for the world stage in 2027.
Volkswagen and U.S. Soccer will celebrate their renewed presenting partnership and the launch of the all-new 2027 Volkswagen Atlas at the U.S. Women’s National Team match against Spain on Saturday, October 10, at Audi Field in Washington, D.C. Volkswagen will have two all-new 2027 Atlas vehicles on display in various colorways at the Block Party, along with a custom, limited-edition Atlas x Banner mascot t-shirt. Thirty t-shirts will be distributed to fans during pre-match warmups, while a videoboard graphic will give fans the opportunity to purchase the tee through the Volkswagen Driver Gear website.
Additional details about upcoming Volkswagen fan experiences and programming will be announced in the near future.
