ELECTION PROCESS
Current Fan Council representatives who are not running for reelection will select finalists from the eligible candidate applications. Finalists will then be listed on an online voting platform, where Insiders at the Premium level or above can vote for their three preferred candidates. Voting will remain open for at least seven days. The three candidates who receive the most votes will be elected as the new representatives of the Fan Council.
Votes cast by Premium Family and above level Insiders are counted as double.
ABOUT THE FAN COUNCIL
The Fan Council meets quarterly in-person and monthly on video calls. At the meetings, the Fan Council discusses governance issues with U.S. Soccer staff, provides feedback on fan-related issues, learns about Federation policies, and reviews anticipated discussion points for U.S. Soccer’s Annual General Meeting (AGM), which may include leadership elections, budgets, amendments, bylaws and more.
Each representative also owns a specific focus area (Ticketing, Matchday Experience, Insiders, Insiders Chapters) and works closely with U.S. Soccer staff to bring the fan voice to each area, presenting their work at quarterly in-person meetings.
The Fan Council selects which of its participants will serve as the three official voting Delegates at U.S. Soccer’s Annual General Meeting.
U.S. Soccer will pay for flights and hotel accommodations for the quarterly in-person Fan Council meetings, as well as registration costs for AGM Delegates. All other costs associated with attending Fan Council meetings are the responsibility of the representatives. The first Fan Council quarterly meeting with U.S. Soccer will be held at the 2027 Annual General Meeting on March 11-14, 2027 in Atlanta, GA.
