U.S. Soccer Fan Code of Conduct

To better ensure fan safety and expedite entry to the stadium, Allianz Field has a clear bag policy that limits the size and type of bags that can be brought into the stadium.

Minnesota United encourages fans not to bring a bag. The following, however, are permitted:

  • One clear bag no larger than 12" x 6" x 12" or a one-gallon clear freezer bag (Ziploc or similar).
  • Guests may carry a small clutch bag or purse no larger than 5" x 9", with or without a strap.
  • Diaper and medical bags are allowed with no size restrictions. Bags will be checked and tagged by security upon entering Allianz Field.

Prohibited items must be returned to vehicles or disposed of before entering the stadium. There are no provisions to check items at the gates, and items abandoned outside the gates will be confiscated.

The following is a list of items that are prohibited in Allianz Field:

  • Aerosol cans
  • Alcohol
  • Animals (except service animals)
  • Backpacks, luggage, grocery bags, duffel bags, large bags, large purses or large camera cases (See Bag Policy)
  • Balloons and other inflatables
  • Balls (beach balls, footballs, baseballs, etc.)
  • Banners (see Supporter Section Policy & Fan Code of Conduct)
  • Flags that are 3’x5’ or smaller are allowed, but cannot obstruct other fans views
  • Beverages or liquids in cans, glass bottles or boxes
  • Camcorders and tripods
  • Cameras with lenses over six inches long
  • Cans, bottles, thermoses – transparent, plastic, empty water bottles are permitted
  • Chairbacks
  • Confetti and streamers
  • Coolers of any kind, including small soft pack coolers
  • Fireworks
  • Food
  • Illegal drugs
  • Laptops, iPads, tablets or other large electronic devices
  • Laser pointers
  • Markers (permanent) and/or paint
  • Noisemaking devices (See Supporter Section Policy)
  • Objects that can be used as projectiles (sticks, bats, clubs, poles, frisbees, etc.)
  • Sticks or flag poles (See Supporter Section Policy)
  • Selfie sticks
  • Tobacco products
  • Umbrellas are permitted, but must be stored in a stadium-provided clear bag at all times while at Allianz Field
  • Video cameras
  • Weapons

Other items that may risk the safety or viewing/listening enjoyment of the guests may be prohibited.

Allianz Field offers several nearby parking lots on gamedays that come complete with real-life parking spots! Fans can purchase directly at the lots via cash or credit beginning when lots open at 2:00pm. Check out the map of nearby lots below to plan out your route to the game.

Metro Transit

Allianz Field is located near easily-accessible Metro Transit options, making it economic and efficient to get to the stadium from locations across the Twin Cities. Plus, the Metro Transit all-day pass can help you skip the ticket-buying line when you want to head home.

  • By Train
  • The Green Line Light Rail has a stop just outside the stadium.
  • By bus
  • Metro Transit A Line services and local bus routes allow transportation options most of the day for commuters along the University and Snelling routes.

Rideshare

Allianz Field has designated pick-up and drop-off points for fans planning on taking Lyft, Uber, or a taxi to the match. Get dropped off curbside on your way into the stadium on matchday, with easy access to your gate no matter where you're seated.

By Bike

Allianz Field is a bike-friendly stadium, with 400 bike parking spots available on-site. Take the bikeway to the stadium, then secure your bike, grab your helmet, and head into the stadium on matchday.

  • From the North
  • Cyclists traveling north and south are encouraged to use the Pascal Street bike lanes.
  • From the East
  • Cyclists traveling to or from the east are also encouraged to utilize Pascal to connect to bike facilities along Charles Avenue or Marshall Avenue.
  • From the West
  • Cyclists traveling to or from the west are encouraged to utilize the bikeway on St. Anthony Avenue.

All of our tickets are digital and available through Ticketmaster. There is a Ticket Office on the Northeast side of the stadium for resolving issues, but no tickets are sold on site.

Fans can access, transfer and manage tickets by logging in to the U.S. Soccer Account Manager.

Skip the Line—Order Ahead!

Buy your merch online and pick it up at the merch trailer located outside of the ticketed gates in Fan HQ on Shields Ave. The link closes 5 minutes after kickoff—don’t miss out!

Our fans must comply with the U.S. Soccer Fan Code of Conduct, including the prohibition on discriminatory chants. Please find more information on the Fan Code of Conduct.

Failure to comply could result in ejections and/or pausing, suspending or concluding the match, in which case there will be no refunds.

Code of Conduct for Guests

The following conduct is prohibited in the Stadium and all parking lots, facilities and areas controlled by the Club or MLS:

  • Behavior that is unruly, disruptive, threatening or violent in nature, including verbal or physical harassment of match officials, players, staff or fans.
  • Conduct that is illegal.
  • Conduct that results in damage to the venue or other personal property.
  • Displaying signs, symbols, images, using language or making gestures that are threatening, abusive, or discriminatory, including on the basis of race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, gender identity, ability, and/or sexual orientation.
  • Displaying signs, symbols or images for commercial purposes or for electioneering, campaigning or advocating for or against any candidate, political party, legislative issue, or government action.
  • Entering or attempting to enter the field, the field track, the tunnel or any other location other than that permitted by the fan’s ticket or credential.
  • Possession of an unauthorized pyrotechnic device, smoke or firework or other Prohibited Items. Throwing objects of any kind, including streamers.
  • Failing to follow requests from venue staff regarding stadium operations, policies and emergency response procedures.
  • Declining to promptly return a ball that enters the stands.
  • Irresponsible use or consumption of alcohol or other substances.
  • Making unauthorized transmissions or play-by-play accounts of the match.
  • Any behavior that otherwise targets other fans or interferes with other fans’ enjoyment of the game.
