One of the brightest rising members of the U.S. Men’s National Team, Adams is an industrious player, capable of playing in central midfield as well as on the right side as a winger or in defense. Playing up an age group, Adams was a mainstay for the U.S. side that won the 2017 CONCACAF U-20 Championship and ran to the quarterfinals of the 2017 FIFA U-20 World Cup. That combined with a fantastic first full season with the New York Red Bulls first team saw Adams earn his first MNT call-up where he went 90 minutes in a 1-1 draw with defending European champions Portugal on Nov. 14, 2017.
