Presenting a towering figure at 6-4, Miazga rose through the New York Red Bulls Academy to become a regular starter for the club’s first team. Though he did appear in the Polish Youth National Team setup, Miazga eventually chose the United States, rising from the U.S. U-18 side to his first full cap with the U.S. Men’s National Team at the end of 2015.
A stellar cog in the Red Bulls back line during their 2015 MLS Supporters Shield campaign, Miazga earned a high-profile transfer to English giants Chelsea FC in January 2016 and went on loan to gain valuable playing time with Dutch side Vitesse that summer. The exciting young center back earned a regular place in the starting XI, helping the club to its first trophy when it won the 2016-17 KNVB Beker and returned on loan for a second season in August 2017.
