Protecting the health and safety of players, coaches, and families is everyone's responsibility. The Safe Soccer Clearance Program provides a centralized, easy-to-use program that brings together SafeSport core training, safeguarding education, annual contact verification, and a USOPC-compliant background check.

- Supporting administrators to ensure safeguarding training, screening, and onboarding is effectively managed.
- The provision of digital assets that demonstrate an organization or an individual’s completion of safeguarding training.
WHAT WE LIKE ABOUT THIS RESOURCE
The program combines a comprehensive suite of training, alongside practical tools that help soccer organizations to manage and feel confident in their fundamental safeguarding practices.

- How can you create a proactive safeguarding culture that goes beyond individual staff training?
- In what ways can you embed youth voice and agency into safeguarding processes?
- What communication strategies can you use to ensure families fully understand your organization’s approach to safeguarding?
- How will you monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of safeguarding training over time?
- You will need to create a free US Soccer Learning Center account to access the training elements of the program. The background check element of the program casts $24 and lasts for two years.
