UPSL side FC America CFL Spurs will advance to the Second Round of the 2026 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup via forfeit. The development follows the Feb. 23 announcement that CFL Spurs’ opponent, South Georgia Tormenta FC, will not participate in the 2026 USL League One season.
FC America CFL Spurs were drawn to play Tormenta FC away in the First Round on March 17. The result will be recorded as a 1-0 victory via forfeit for CFL Spurs.
FC America CFL Spurs’ Second Round opponent will be determined in the Second Round draw following all remaining First Round matches.
