The USMNT begins a new cycle after the 2026 FIFA World Cup. Head coach Mauricio Pochettino signed a new contract this summer that keeps him as head coach through 2030.
2. Blend of experience and potential
Thirteen players return from the squad that took part in FIFA World Cup 2026. Thirteen players on the roster are uncapped and the average age of the roster is 22 years and eight months.
3. Orlando Connections
Forward Justin Ellis could make his USMNT debut at his home stadium, while defender Alex Freeman returns to his former club where he was named 2025 MLS Young Player of the Year.
