MILESTONE: Gyasi Zardes is Second Fastest USMNT Player to Reach Double-Digit Goals and Assists

Veteran forward comes in behind only Landon Donovan as the quickest player to join the USMNT’s 10 & 10 Club

With his assist in Sunday’s Gold Cup group stage match against Haiti, forward Gyasi Zardes became the second fastest U.S. Men’s National Team player to reach double-digit goals and assists all-time.

Already with double-digit goals to his name, Zardes collected his 10th assist when he set up Sam Vines’ goal in the 8' minute against Haiti.

Zardes reached the milestone in his 57th cap, coming in behind only USMNT legend Landon Donovan who achieved the feat in his 50th appearance on June 13, 2004 in a World Cup qualifier against Grenada.
